Cookie Policy
Last updated: May 2026
This page explains how SoberX uses cookies and similar technologies on our marketing websites, and how you can control them.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Pixels, SDKs, and local storage may behave similarly.
How we use them
Strictly necessary: security, load balancing, remembering consent choices.
Analytics: aggregated statistics about visits (for example traffic sources).
Marketing: measuring ad effectiveness where enabled.
Exact vendors change over time and may include providers listed by our consent banner or tag manager.
Health-related data and ad partners
We do not use marketing cookies or pixels to collect or share addiction type, sobriety status, urge logs, risk scores, journal content, safety contacts, or similar recovery context with Meta, TikTok, or other ad platforms. Where marketing scripts run (only after consent in applicable regions), we limit signals to generic upper-funnel events such as page views and app-store redirects. This approach reflects lessons from regulatory actions when health or mental-health-related data was shared with ad platforms in ways that contradicted privacy promises (for example FTC matters involving GoodRx and BetterHelp).
Your choices
Use our cookie/consent banner where shown. Adjust your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Industry opt-outs (e.g., for interest-based ads) may be available in your region.
Do Not Track
There is no uniform standard. We currently look to consent signals and browser settings rather than responding automatically to every DNT header variant.
Updates
When we materially change tracking partners or purposes, we will update this notice and, if required, renew consent.
