Digital health companies have faced regulatory action when sensitive health data was shared with advertising platforms in ways that contradicted privacy promises. SoberX is designed differently on the marketing site and in the product architecture we describe publicly:

- Addiction type, sobriety status, urge logs, risk scores, journal content, and safety contacts are not sent to Meta, TikTok, or similar ad tools for targeting.
- Marketing measurement on this website, where enabled, uses generic, consent-based signals such as page views and store redirects — not health inferences.
